Change is coming and every business needs to prepare. But with uncertainty around Brexit it has become more difficult than ever to make plans. The Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE) in partnership with HSBC, have invited leading figures from government and business to share their insights at this one-day conference to help businesses navigate the future. Confirmed speakers include Robin Walker MP, Minister, Department for Exiting the European Union and Barry Gardiner MP, Shadow Secretary of State for International Trade. Entry to the conference is free and includes entry to the International Business Festival.

FinTech North is an events-based initiative which aims to encourage collaboration and generate economic benefit across the Northern Powerhouse. This event is one of three major conferences being held across the north in 2018, with the others taking place in Leeds and Manchester.

FinTech North will be hosting a full day conference featuring a range of high profile speakers from the financial services and FinTech industries. The programme will cover key sector trends and strategies to negotiate them and feature speeches from Chief Executive, The Northern Powerhouse Partnership, CBI and a session showcasing UK and international FinTech firms.

FSB’s event will also provide practical information, guidance and support on how to become a global business.

The event will build on the valuable work already being done to help more small businesses embrace exporting, creating a community of FSB members trading internationally and helping FSB lobby the Government on provision of services which best support SME’s and FSB members.
