NEXT GEN FEST HSBC

WHAT IS IT?

Our festival-within-a-festival helped young people realise their dreams, inspiring our future captains of industry. Sponsored by HSBC UK, NextGen Fest enhanced the prospects of hundreds of young people's business careers..

WHO WAS IT FOR?

16 to 24-year-olds keen to broaden their understanding of the career opportunities available to them, to get their hands on the latest innovations in tech, and to meet other ambitious young people from across the country.

THE BENEFIT?

NextGenFest helped young people make valuable connections, explore new trends and step into the future world off work. They heard from successful young business people about their career journeys and gained practical advice from experts in the most exciting industries.

ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS

ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS

Our Festival wasn't just about doing deals and making contacts, it was about celebrating business as a force for good. Part of that is inspiring young people to achieve their dreams. So, we launched NextGen Fest, in association with HSBC UK.

Within a dedicated hub on the Festival floor, young people heard the inspirational stories of their peers and explored the latest tech transforming our world. They discovered careers in the industries shaping their future, and find out how to start a business or deliver a Dragon’s Den-style pitch.

We offered young people across the UK free tickets to this fun and immersive experience taking place across the three weeks of the Festival.

Just like the main event, each of the nine days had a different theme and NextGen Fest delegates are welcome to browse the other attractions on the Festival floor. Read the NextGen Fest programme snapshots below.
