FEATURED EXHIBITOR: ROAMINGEXPERT
For three weeks in June this year, the best of business will be represented on the festival floor as companies, organisations and regions will exhibit their brand to an estimated crowd of up to 27,000 ambitious businesspeople.
We caught up with Jackie Romanienko, the Sales and Marketing Manager for RoamingExpert, a company which helps businesses save thousands their mobile roaming costs and will be exhibiting at the International Business Festival for the first time over two consecutive weeks...
So, Jackie, I understand that this will be RoamingExpert’s first time attending the International Business Festival – why have you decided to get involved this year?
“Well, in previous years we have had a set number of UK Business trade shows that we have exhibited at. However, we were always receiving excellent recommendations to exhibit at the International Business Festival.
“So when the decision was made to invest more into exhibiting at trade shows, the festival was actually the first one we looked at.
“Even though the festival is on for a longer duration, it’s perfect for us as the sector-specific days will allow us to target our specific audiences.”
Tell me more about RoamingExpert.
“RoamingExpert was formed back in 2012 with the aim of lowering mobile roaming charges for UK businesses.
“With our background in telecoms, we noticed that our customers had much larger bills when they travelled abroad. So we expanded the business to tackle the issue of high mobile roaming costs.”
That’s great Jackie – How does it work?
“We work with all the major UK networks to build bespoke tariffs for all our customers tailored to their individual needs.
“What makes us different is the flexibility we have to build bespoke tariffs which we can span across different networks, if required, and put all the requirements on one monthly invoice.
“On average our savings are between 20%-50%, and for some companies, this can result in thousands of pounds of savings on their mobile bills.”
That sounds like a great service, so what are you looking to promote at the Festival?
“Along with strengthening and building our RoamingExpert brand, we want to increase our visibility through the Festival, which will hopefully provide us with some good business leads and potential new clients.”
You’ve chosen to exhibit in weeks two and three. What is it about the sector-themed days in those weeks you think will bring clients your way?
“Although we work with all companies that have a global footprint, most of our customers fall into six sectors. The majority of these industries fall into the second and third week of the festival.
“From working with our existing customers we have a good idea what prospective clients’ needs are and how we can solve their issues. Hopefully, our vast knowledge and the offer of cost savings will bring clients to our stand to learn more.”
“With all exhibition shows, I always look forward to meeting the other exhibitors. Although with this being my first year at the festival, I am really looking forward to the whole event.
“Having spoken to your team before booking our stand they explained the different aspects of the festival - all of which offer potential interesting opportunities for our business.”
